January 2025 – Amsterdam Reproduction and Development

On January 27, Prof. Claudio Stern, Dr. Jenny van Dongen. Prof Nick Martin and PhD student Nikki Hubers, will organise a Lunch Meeting at the Amsterdam Reproduction and Development. They will discuss the latest update in twinning research and the implications of twinning on fertility.

September 2024 – Galton award

Dr. Veronika Odintsova (VU Amsterdam) received the Galton award at the Twin Congress in Assisi, Italy, Sept 2024. The price was awarded by the International Society of Twin Studies for her presentation about The study on the Epigenetic signature of Monozygotic twinning and its link to vanishing twin syndrome and Amyoplasia.
